At the heart of the Winter of Love is The Mountain. 560 inches of annual snowfall spanning 2,212 vertical feet of pure snowsporting pleasure. This hunka-hunk of snow-draped love offers wind-protected skiing, backcountry access and of course, beautiful, carveable corduroy. Plus, it’s perfectly designed so the whole family can take their own routes down the hill and meet up together at the bottom. The close proximity (short drive from Sacramento or San Francisco), gorgeous lake views, 300 days of sunshine a year and massive amounts of snow are just icing on the mountain.
