Newts can be found for a short time after the winter rains have moistened the golden hills and the green grass begins to appear. Bob Love, our naturalist, will talk about the newt natural history and point out frogs, lizards and early spring flowers as we search the streams for California newts. Meet on site, directions will be sent. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. See the website to register.
