Let's Go Birding-Carquinez Strait Trail

Birding will be the focus as we explore a stretch of the Contra Costa County shoreline on this new trail between Crockett and Martinez above the seawater connection between San Pablo and Suisun Bays. With magnificent views along the overlook trail we will look for wintering open grassland birds such as: Turkey Vultures, White-tailed Kite, Northern Harrier, Red-tailed Hawk, Western Bluebird, Western Meadowlark, Savannah Sparrow (perhaps even American Pipits will appear).
