This historic Hayward shoreline reserve will be opened to the Lindsay Wildlife Museum, "Let's Go Birding" group this day. This is the first unit to undergo wildlife enhancement modifications for the whole South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project; a $50,000,000 conservation effort to bring S.F. Bay's prehistoric habitat back as close as possible. There will be a wide variety of wintering birds that we will hope to spot in this exciting morning's excursion.
