Welcome to the March edition of San Francisco Android Developers! This month we're joined by Ryan Cooke from Pinterest We also have slots for a lightning talk - get in touch if you've got one up your sleeve you'd like to share: Talk: "Tools and Libraries for Common Android Problems" From image loading to social login, there are endless libraries and tools for the common problems Android developers face.  Picking the wrong tool or library can be a mistake you regret for the lifetime of your app.  This talk provides pros, cons, gotchas and best practices for tools solving many common Android problems. About Ryan: Ryan Cooke is an Android Engineer at Pinterest on the Core Experience team.  The Core Experience team focuses on among other things making sure Pinterest is using the best libraries available.  He was formerly the Lead Android Engineer at UrbanSitter.  He has built several additional apps from scratch for freelance and his own personal projects.  When not working you can find him skiing, bouldering, playing escape games or looking for his next adventure. Recording: All our talks are recorded, so if you can't make it to the meetup you can still watch the talks online about two weeks afterwards. We'll email the videos to the group and post links in the event comments. Schedule:   Doors Open 6:30pm 6:30 - 7pm: Refreshments and food, which will include options for omnivores, vegans, and gluten-free folks. We will not be serving alcohol at this meetup, but we have plenty of soda options.  7pm: Presentations + Q&A with a very short break between presentations.  We welcome you to stay and chat afterwards
