Learn about the impact of and connections between important themes like food production, climate change and the need to feed a growing world. Then, ideate potential solutions for these tough, interconnected issues with like-minded people in your community and win a chance to incubate your ideas at an all-expense-paid global food solutions conference in the spring! After a brief presentation on how and where carbon is produced and wasted in the food supply chain, participants will break out into groups to ideate (45 minutes) on the following Challenge Question: How might we move toward a more carbon neutral and/or carbon positive food supply chain? For the last 20 minutes, groups will pitch their solutions and the event participants will vote on one solution to submit to the Food Solutions Challenge. The top six teams from participating Net Impact chapters will win all-expense-paid trips to the Global Food Solutions Conference in April. Net Impact will award a $5,000 grand prize to the winning team and $1,000 for two runner-ups.  Bring your creativity and innovation to this fun, impactful event! NOTE: Net Impact collects your registration information in order to confirm attendance. You will periodically receive emails about Net Impact and the event for which you are registered.
