In its 28th season, noted new music ensemble Earplay juxtaposes three west coast premieres and one world premiere alongside a rarely-heard Schoenberg work, Ein Stelldichein. Peter Josheff’s Waiting, an Earplay commission especially written for the ensemble in response to Ein Stelldichein, is performed by the full ensemble and the West coast premieres by new composers Mikel Kuehn, Tiffany Sevilla and Yao Chen showcase the virtuosity of the Earplayers on the March 18 program.
