Writers on Writing: Dean Rader

Poet Dean Rader discusses his collection “Works and Days.” Rader has published widely in poetry, American Indian studies and popular culture. His debut collection of poems, “Works & Days,” won the 2010 T.S. Eliot Poetry Prize, won the 2010 Writer’s League of Texas Poetry Prize. Rader’s poem from the book “Twilight at Ocean Beach: 14” was named by Verse Daily as one of the Best Poems of 2010, and others have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
