The Red Poppy’s new film series, Red Reels, will kick off during Black History Month on Sunday, February 10th with a screening of Throw Down Your Heart depicting Béla Fleck’s musical odyssey to Africa and a solo performance by Fat Opie's Scott Mickelson following the film. Doors open at 6pm, film at 6:30pm.
Scott Mickelson is the singer/songwriter for San Francisco band Fat Opie. His narrative style continues to paint both musical and lyrical portraits of contemporary life as an American.
