The Cypress Quartet's Salon Series presents chamber music the way it was meant to be heard: in intimate, acoustically vibrant spaces for a small audience of music lovers. Salon No. 1 (Nov. 16 in Berkeley, Nov. 17 in San Francisco, & Nov. 18 in Los Altos Hills) pairs Dvorak's "Cypresses" with Mozart’s String Quartet in D Minor, K. 421 and Beethoven’s String Quartet in F Minor, Op. 95 (“Serioso”). Seating is limited to ensure a truly intimate experience; wine and chocolate reception to follow.
