South is a contemporary restaurant + wine bar showcasing the best of food and wine from Australia and New Zealand. The menu reflects Chef/Owner Luke Mangan's signature style, characterized as "ModOz" by the Australian culinary community. ModOz marries fresh, bold flavors with southern hemisphere staples like New Zealand lamb with mint pesto, Barramundi, salmon sashimi with curry spices and lime and (of course) BBQ Australian beef. South's wine list highlights boutique and family-owned wineries chosen to showcase regionality. The list is comprised exclusively of wine from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. South's interior was created with antipodean ambience in mind. Highlights include a 16-foot Australian jarrah communal table and Maori inspired custom tile. Walk ins are welcome at the wine bar or communal table. Large groups and private parties also welcome!
