As we head into the Fall, we wanted to make sure that you set aside the evening of November 13th to attend the 2008 NEN Awards here at City Hall. This will be a joyous event celebrating the amazing work that has been happening in our neighborhoods. The program will feature an announcement of the recipients for the 2009 Community Challenge Grants as well as the issuance of the first ever NEN Awards. The NEN Awards are our way of saluting the great work that happens every day in our communities. The categories include Best Neighborhood Newsletter, Best Community Building Project as well as the creation of the "NEN Hall of Fame" to name a few.
