Give the Junior Giants a hand by giving them a glove at the Junior Giants Glove Drive! Contribute a glove, or a $10 donation, and score a commemorative 50th Anniversary pin.
The 2008 Junior Giants Glove Drive is presented by Bank of America, and gives underprivileged kids the chance to own their very own equipment. Both new and used gloves are accepted, as well as monetary donations of $10 or more. Contributions will earn fans a souvenir of the San Francisco Giants' 50th anniversary.
The flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, Junior Giants baseball is a noncompetitive league offered free to kids in inner cities and rural communities throughout Northern California, Nevada, and Oregon. Out of over 14,800 youths participating in the program, more than 6,400 don’t own their own glove.
