Grammy-nominated Ottmar Liebert, best known for pioneering the Nouveau Flamenco style of ensemble flamenco, has been one of the most prolific recording artists of the last couple of decades. His 1989 debut "Nouveau Flamenco" reached double platinum status, and since 1990 he has released no fewer than 23 albums. He and his ensemble Luna Negra have legions of fans the world over, from casual lovers of guitar music to flamenco purists. He also is an ordained Zen Monk.
