Beats Antique

Beats Antique was formed in the fall of 2006 in Oakland CA. In their debut album, Beats Antique creates a definitive union between the old and the new. Tribal Derivations is centered in middle eastern bellydance, downtempo hip hop, old school jazz, classical indian, and north african gnawa music. Zoe, an innovative tribal bellydancer, has co-produced, with Sidecar Tommy and David Satori, a refreshing musical take on an antique aesthetic.
