Sebastian Siegel was born in Oxford, England. His father is Indian religions professor and Pulitzer nominated author, Lee Siegel. His grandfather, Leonard Thompson, was a lifelong opponent of discrimination and apartheid, and a founding member of the South African Liberal Party. Siegel began studying drama at age 7 and was accepted to attend college at 14 to study acting.
He was in theater throughout school and although he never played an organized sport, he is widely recognized for having appeared on nearly 100 magazine covers and billboards, including Men's Fitness and Iron Man. Siegel has been photographed by Steven Meisel, David La Chapelle, and for billboards in Times Square and building-sides in Chicago. He rented a room after moving to LA and later lived out of his car.
Siegel owns a home in Los Angeles. He has produced two commercials and is directing a documentary feature film including interviews with artists, icons and global leaders.
