Cheech & Chong

Cheech & Chong are a famous comedy duo made up of Richard "Cheech" Marin and Tommy Chong. The par rose to fame in the 1970s for through their stand-up routines and albums which focused specifically on drug culture as well as free live ideals of the time.

In total they have released 10 studio albums. Their popularity from their routines and albums begin to land them full-length movies. Their first was 1978's "Up in Smoke," which would become one of their most well-loved movies. Other popular movies starring the duo include "Cheech & Chong's Next Movie" (1980), "Nice Dreams" (1981), and "Still Smokin'" (1983).

The par split up in 1985 after Marin decided to focus on solo projects. Both men found individual successes, but neither ever reached the heights they had as a duo. After more then 20 years of separation, they announced a reunion in 2008 and began touring again later that year. Since then it has been announced they are working on a new movie and continue to be active with tours, and appearances.
