Mo'Nique

An award-winning comedienne, Mo'Nique began her career 16 years ago in her hometown of Baltimore, MD because of a dare from her brother. The overwhelming response and standing ovation she received gave her the courage to pursue a comedy career professionally, and she credits her big break as the day she quit her job at a phone company to pursue her comedy dream wholeheartedly.

From there she has gained visibility and immense popularity with her performances on "Showtime at the Apollo," HBO's "Def Comedy Jam," "Apollo Comedy Hour," HBO's "Snaps," BET's "Comic View," The Montreal Comedy Festival, Uptown Comedy Club, "The Queens of Comedy," and many more!
