John Karl Hirten Organ Concert at Oakland Cathedral

The sounds of the Conroy Memorial Organ will soar under the fingers and feet of Bay Area organist John Karl Hirten in concert. Admission: free-will offering.

Hirten is well-known locally for his monthly recitals at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor, as well as appearances at numerous other venues. The cathedral features a custom-made Létourneau 92 ranks, four-manual, pedal organ with 5298 pipes. The organ is used primarily in liturgy, and featured in concerts throughout the year.
