After 12 years at the forefront of the American Balkan music movement, Oakland’s veteran ten-piece brass powerhouse Brass Menazeri disbands in February. This will be their final epic show.
Brass Menazeri brings two full sets of rapturous Balkan dance party, exquisite horn lines and soaring vocals, driven by the Bay’s finest Balkan brass rhythm section. Bellydancer Zoe Jakes of Beats Antique joins. Menazeri trumpeter eO debuts his glitchy, Balkish dj set. Plus a cavalcade of guest musicians!
