Fred Moten is the author of Arkansas, In the Break: The Aesthetics of the Black Radical Tradition, I ran from it but was still in it, Hughson’s Tavern, B Jenkins, and Open Secret: Essays in Stolen Life.

Steve Dickison has directed the Poetry Center & American Poetry Archives at San Francisco State University since 1999, and teaches there, and in the Writing & Literature program at California College of the Arts.
