NASA’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are Federal grant programs aimed towards the small business community. The SBIR and STTR programs provide the small business community an opportunity to develop and transition technologies that meet the goals and missions of NASA.
The purpose of this seminar is to give an overview of the SBIR Phase I proposal writing process. Roger S. Cohen, an independent consultant engaged in business development, will deliver the seminar. Day One includes topics such as an overview of the SBIR and STTR programs, how to prepare a winning SBIR and STTR proposal, and introduction to SBIR/STTR budgets. Day Two of the seminar (is optional), held on Friday, August 10th, serves as an opportunity for small businesses who have attended Day One to meet One-to-One with a consultant to discuss their proposal ideas. One-to-Ones are limited and by appointment only.
