The Beat Meters were conceived in a 1970 Chevelle convertible, born on a Small Stone phase shifter, and weaned inside an incubator heated by discarded vacuum tubes that suffered a vast array of microphonic distortion.
They sound like funky old CTI jazz records mixed with psychadelic rock and blues.
