Pianist Greg Sankovich and I will be playing Armando's. We will probably have some choice guests sharing the stage as well.
Armando's is a great space. It's a real grassroots kind of place. Roy Jeans and Eloise Cotton as well as others have put a huge amount of work into making this a vital place for music. It's a funky arty coffeehouse, but in the best way. Roy is a fine artist, for one thing, so the art is good. Secondly, Eloise Cotton has been booking some great music into the place. We play here cuz the vibe is great and we want to be a part of bringing more quality live music to Martinez and the area. This place is essential to there being an arts and music scene in Martinez, and bless 'em for doing it. Come on out - it's worthwhile and fun. How can you beat that?
