Kurt Adkins, author of Waterhole: a western saga at the Livermore Public Library
Set in the 1870s, Waterhole tells the story of a boy whose mother has mysteriously vanished, and portrays characters with strong friendships, and enemies. The father-and-son quest for the boy’s mother evolves into an action-packed coming-of-age tale set in a tumultuous time of dramatic change in the western United States. Waterhole takes readers on an adventure from Dodge City to the Oklahoma and Arizona territories, and out to the San Francisco Bay Area. Books will be available.
