Vision: Create a professional learning community across public institutions focused on systemic and equitable family, school and community engagement systems and practices. Mission: T​he Family Engagement Network (FEN) is made up of district, school and community organizations across Alameda County and its 18 school districts focused on creating Family, School and Community Partnerships. Through collaborative monthly meetings and professional development opportunities the members learn, share and expand on existing practices by focusing on authentic and meaningful family engagement strategies, systems and structures. The FEN utilizes 30 years of Family & Community Engagement research focused on Student Achievement, Race & Equity, Advocacy, and Community Transformation grounded in a strengths­ based approach.  WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
