Broadway Under The Stars "Fantastical Family Night"

Broadway performers from BEAUTY & THE BEAST, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, GYPSY, MARY POPPINS and more scheduled to appear in concert with picnicking under the stars in the majestic open-air winery ruins of Jack London State Park. An evening of singing, comedy and dancing perfect for the whole family. Includes a special performance by kids participating in the Broadway Under The Stars Kids Camp. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the park.


Sonoma, CA – This summer Transcendence Theatre Company… Show more presents outdoor concerts of music, comedy and dancing, with Broadway Under the Stars running from July 14 – September 1. The Concert Series features four separate themed concerts with a total of 14 nights of performances, wine, and pre-event picnicking in Jack London State Park. A portion of the proceeds from each concert will benefit the Valley of the Moon Natural History Association (who took over the operation of the park on May 1st.) The success of these concerts will play a vital role in the sustaining of the threatened park for generations to come.

The themes for the Inaugural Season Concert Series were specially selected to embody the spirit of adventure reflected in the life of Jack London and to celebrate this community that has come together in such an unprecedented way to save Jack London State Park from closure.

“Fantastical Family Night”, August 3, 4 at 8pm, will engage the entire family with songs from much loved musicals, while featuring a special performance by local youth who participate in the company's Broadway Under The Stars Kids Camp this summer. Scheduled to appear in these special shows is Anneliese van der Pol (Broadway’s final “Belle” in Beauty and the Beast) who for six years starred in the highly successful Disney Show That's So Raven as “Chelsea Daniels.” 16 other Broadway and Hollywood actors are scheduled to perform and feature songs from Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and more.
