Broadway Under The Stars "Dream The Impossible Dream"

Broadway performers from WICKED, 42ND STREET, MARY POPPINS, MAMMA MIA and more scheduled to appear in concert with wine, and picnicking under the stars in the majestic open-air winery ruins of Jack London State Park. A portion of the proceeds to benefit the park.

Sonoma, CA – This summer Transcendence Theatre Company presents… Show more outdoor concerts of music, comedy and dancing, with Broadway Under the Stars running from July 14 – September 1. The Concert Series features four separate themed concerts with a total of 14 nights of performances, wine, and pre-event picnicking in Jack London State Park. A portion of the proceeds from each concert will benefit the Valley of the Moon Natural History Association (who took over the operation of the park on May 1st.) The success of these concerts will play a vital role in the sustaining of the threatened park for generations to come.

The themes for the Inaugural Season Concert Series were specially selected to embody the spirit of adventure reflected in the life of Jack London and to celebrate this community that has come together in such an unprecedented way to save Jack London State Park from closure.

The Concert Series begins with Dream the Impossible Dream, July 14, 15, 20, 21, 22 at 8pm, a celebration of song, dance, and inspiration to commemorate the significance of the saving of the park and the launch of Transcendence Theatre’s Inaugural Season. Scheduled to appear and featured in this concert is Broadway star Nicolas Dromard (Broadway’s Mary Poppins) who played “Bert” in Mary Poppins and who starred as “Fiyero” in San Francisco’s long running 2009 production of Wicked. Nicolas will join 17 other Broadway and Hollywood actors scheduled to perform and they’ll be singing inspirational songs from musicals such as Wicked, Crazy for You and Chorus Line.
