Edited by Maxine Hong Kingston, Veterans of War, Veterans of Peace is an anthology of nonfiction, fiction, and poetry that speak of worlds torn apart then rebuilt. Winner of the 2007 Northern California Book Reviewers Special Award in Publishing, this book has been described by the San Francisco Magazine as “a glowing result of a brave experiment.” Appearing at the Reading Festival will be contributors Sean Brown, Doug Zachary, Bonnie Bonner, and Robert Jost.
