On Earth Day morning, 9-11:30 AM, join Friends of Five Creeks volunteers in El Cerrito's beautiful Hillside Natural Area. We'll enjoy wildflowers and views as we remove invasives. Tools, gloves, and snacks provided! Plus: this is part of El Cerrito's Earth Day celebration; all volunteers are invited to a free lunch at El Cerrito's Community Center.
Wear long-sleeves shirt, long pants, socks, and closed-toed shoes with good traction. Because poison oak is a possibility, this is not suitable for very young children. Meet at 9 AM at the west end of King Court (1190 King Court on Internet maps), below where King and Shevlin Drives meet (north of Moeser). No RSVP needed. Questions? email email@example.com.
