In his memoir, Lost Decency: The Untold Afghan Story, Atta Arghandiwal shares his journey to escape his war-torn country. Spanning a history of 50 years, Atta tells his life story of growing up in Afghanistan and having to leave after the Russian invasion of 1980. In his memoir, he reveals the truth about his beloved and once peaceful nation and how it became one of the deadliest and most dangerous countries in the world.
