Rare European and American Art Nouveau postcards are on view at the Pence. The exhibit includes popular subjects such as women, travel and holiday themes, but emphasizes the collector’s cards of the Art Nouveau, a period that marks a high point in design and new printing technologies. On exhibit is a postcard by Alphonse Mucha and a postcard of Utagawa Hiroshige’s original Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido. Reception on Jan 11. Join Robert Nevraumont for a Collector's Talk on Jan 18.
