“Our vision of the organization is about supporting our community. We are determined to help make a difference in the area in which we live,” said Dan Sanders, co-founder of the 680 Commercial Idea Exchange. “We made a $500 donation to the American Heart Association on behalf of our members on Valentine’s Day, and last November ran a Thanksgiving food drive. The 680 Commercial Golf Classic is our largest fund raising event, and this year benefits two deserving charities, the Discovery Counseling Center of the San Ramon Valley and Youth Homes, Inc. We are looking for individuals to play, companies to sponsor this event and/or make donations for the auction to help raise much needed support for both of these groups!”
“Every day children and teens in our community seek professional mental health for issues like depression and anxiety,” said Thom Martin, Executive Director of the Discovery Counseling Center of the San Ramon Valley. “The money raised from this golf classic will go a long way to ensure that Discovery is able to help these children. We are very grateful to the generosity and leadership of the 680 Commercial Idea Exchange.”
“It is very gratifying for Youth Homes to be chosen as one of the charities who will benefit from the golf tournament organized by the 680 Commercial Idea Exchange,” said Stuart McCullough, Executive Director of Youth Homes. “It is a privilege to be chosen along with the Discovery Consoling Center, an agency we hold in high regard. In this time of economic instability, and the increasing costs associated with raising our youth and supporting the services needed for their health and care, the donation is greatly appreciated.”
