You asked for it, you got it: I'm hosting a Cuddle Party for Valentine's Day.Â

Part workshop, part social event, Cuddle Party is a fantastic way to spend time with friends old and new, get intimacy needs met, learn to ask for (and get) what you want, and enjoy some kind, compassionate, nurturing touch.Â

We humans need touch and affection. It’s no longer a question. Nurturing, welcome consensual touch is good for you. Good for your body, heart and spirit. Good for your blood pressure, your nervous… Show more system, your emotional health, your ability to connect with and trust people, your ability to respect and care for yourself, your creativity, sense of safety and comfort and belonging. Infants who are deprived of touch fail to thrive; we never outgrow the need.

This special event will include decadent treats, a Valentine-making station, and great music. It will be led by Cuddle Party co-founder Marcia Baczynski, in a beautiful home with a spectacular view of the entire Bay.Â

Doors open at 7, event starts at 7:30 (no late arrivals). We'll go till 11. Arrive early, and stay as long as you like. Carpooling is encouraged.Â
