Berkeley Ballet Theater Presents The Nutcracker

Celebrating 26 years of this venerable East Bay tradition, BBT's Nutcracker presents a favorite holiday story in a new light, as choreographed by Sally Streets and Robert Nichols. The performances are directed by Sarah Marcus, Artistic Director. We will be joined by six guest artists who will perform the male leads including Brian Fisher, formerly of ODC/Dance; Brandon "Private" Freeman of ODC/SF; Derrick Sakakura of Diablo Ballet; Will Lin-Yee formerly of New York City Ballet; and Levi Toney of Margaret Jenkins Dance Company. The leading roles of Clara, the Snow Queen, and the Sugar Plum Fairy will be performed by dancers from Berkeley Ballet's acclaimed Youth Company.
